Pass protection is key to avoiding sacks and giving your receivers more time to run their routes, especially when playing against stout defensive linemen. With all of our other abilities and tips we provide, protected would be the cherry on top. Passers with this ability receive better pass blocking from their offensive linemen. Out of all of the abilities for slot 5, we highly recommend “Protected”. Look over these three abilities and choose the one that best fits your style. If you’re QB is running outside of the pocket a lot then getting his feet set will be a little difficult to accomplish. However, the only caveat to this is your feet have to be set. Perfect accuracy on deep throws is a great ability to have. Passers with this ability have perfect accuracy on all deep throws while their feet are set (except on high/low throws). The final recommendation for your fourth slot would be “Long Range Deadeye”. “Comeback” is great for those situations and can really help you out of a bind. We never want to play a game and come back from behind that is never a good thing but it happens. When playing from behind players with this ability can easily enter the Zone. The reason “Pro Reads” is great for simulation is because usually, QBs tend to hold onto the ball for a ridiculous amount of time. ✔ Make consecutive passes for 5+ yards in air When they enter the zone their first open receiver is highlighted and the ignore defensive pressure.
