I do the exact same thing, but instead of choosing "Asio4all v2 Stereo" i choose "Asio4all v2 mono input 1" then it tells me to select an audio input first and i choose "Asio4all v2 Stereo" and it starts playing the metronome and recording over and over in the first playlist bar, but no sound is recording.
then i click on the "one-hit recording" button and choose "into playlist as audio clip". Then i go to Options > Audio Settings > Audio and then i put my input/output to Asio4all. When i open up FL Studio, I connect my audio interface with my guitar and headphones plugged in.
